ClearClass

Terms of Use

The service

ClearClass turns a school schedule that is hard to read into a clear one that you can correct, style, download, print, and share. It is free. You do not need an account.

ClearClass is operated by Effective Product Management, Petah Tikva, Israel.

These terms apply to everyone who uses ClearClass, including people who open a schedule shared with them.

What you may upload

  • A weekly school schedule as a PDF, a screenshot, a photo, or pasted text.
  • Only a document you are authorized to provide and to have processed to create and share a schedule. You do not need to own it. If it holds other people's personal information, you confirm that you may provide it.
  • Do not upload unrelated sensitive information, such as identity numbers, medical information, grades, or disciplinary records.
  • If you are under 18, use ClearClass only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

Uploading is optional. A short notice beside the upload area says this before you start. By starting a schedule, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

How the schedule is read

The schedule is read automatically by AI services and can contain mistakes. It is not an official school record. Check important details against the original and correct the schedule before you rely on it or share it. A note beside the schedule, and on a schedule shared with you, reminds you to check it against the original.

Your schedule

  • A schedule is kept for 7 days and then deleted. Download or print it if you want to keep it.
  • A schedule belongs to the browser that created it. If you clear your browser's cookies, you can no longer open it.
  • Every schedule you download or share carries a small ClearClass mark.

Sharing

You decide whether to share a schedule. Anyone who has your link can see the finished schedule, including the names in it, until the link stops working. You can stop the link at any time.

You decide who gets your link, and they can pass it on. Share it only with people you trust.

Fair use

The service limits how much it can be used: the size of a document, and how many times one schedule can be changed, downloaded, and shared.

Do not use ClearClass to:

  • break the law, or upload content you are not allowed to upload;
  • violate anyone's privacy or copyright;
  • upload malicious files;
  • reach another person's schedule without their permission;
  • get around its security or its limits, or overload it with automated requests or scraping;
  • harass anyone; or
  • store sensitive personal information unrelated to a schedule.

We may limit, suspend, or stop access that breaks these rules.

Availability and changes

ClearClass is an experimental free service. We do not promise that it will always be available. We may change features, add limits, suspend the service, or end it, and we try to give reasonable notice when we can. ClearClass is not a place to store things permanently: keep a copy of anything you care about.

Responsibility

  • ClearClass is provided "as is" and "as available".
  • We do not promise that a schedule is complete or accurate, or that the service works without interruption.
  • As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential damage.
  • Our total responsibility for direct damage is limited to NIS 100, or to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim if that is more, except where the law does not allow such a limit.

Law and disputes

Israeli law governs these terms, and disputes are decided by the competent courts in Israel, subject to any law that cannot be set aside by agreement.

Changes to these terms

We will update this page when the terms change, and show the date of the latest version at the top.
